QUEST / STATS / FIELD NOTE

Sovereign Tower Knights.

Quest assignment is where the tower's systems meet. Read the request, read the stat profile, then decide whether the best outcome is success now or information for the next loop.

Read the quest before the roster

Start with the problem being solved, not with the knight you happen to like most. Match the quest's pressure point to the stat that should carry the attempt, then use personality and relationship context as the second check.

  • Strength: physical pressure and direct solutions
  • Agility: speed, precision, and getting out cleanly
  • Charisma: persuasion, confidence, and social leverage
  • Magic: supernatural problems and unusual solutions
  • Wit: deduction, planning, and clever alternatives

The two-check dispatch

First ask: does this knight have the right tool for the request? Second ask: what will this assignment do to the court if it succeeds, fails, or reveals a new secret? That second question is where a guide becomes more useful than a raw tier list.

Log the outcome

Record critical success, critical failure, and unexpected outcomes separately. A surprising result is not wasted if it tells you which choice to revisit when you turn back time.
