Sovereign Tower Quest Scoring Explained.

There is a useful community model for quest scoring, but no official public formula. Use it to design a test, not to promise an exact percentage or threshold for every quest.

FAST ANSWER / SCORING

Use the model to plan a replay, not to fake precision.

Community references discuss party size, average stats, meals, and traits as score inputs. The public result meter still does not expose an official formula, so record the visible result and test one modifier against a fixed baseline.

  1. Record the quest, party size, visible stat pressure, traits, meals, and meter result.
  2. Rewind to the same preceding state and change one modifier only.
  3. Compare the meter, result class, reward, and unexpected outcome separately.
  4. Label the finding as reproduced, community report, or unverified.

The reported model

Public guides discuss a party-size penalty, stat averages, meal bonuses, and trait adjustments. Those claims are valuable because they explain why a larger or apparently stronger party can still produce a surprising result, but they are not an official formula and may be quest- or build-sensitive.

  • Party size: reported as a possible score pressure
  • Visible stats: compare the relevant average or lead
  • Meals and consumables: record the displayed effect
  • Traits: record the knight, trait, and quest together

Build a controlled scoring test

Start with one quest and one baseline party. Rewind, change one variable, and repeat. A score change without a result-class change is still useful evidence, but it does not prove a universal threshold.

  • Baseline: same quest, cycle, party, equipment, and choice
  • Test A: change party size
  • Test B: change the relevant stat lead
  • Test C: change one meal or trait
  • Compare the result screen before comparing rewards

Relationship to Quest Result Meter

Use Quest Result Meter for what the screen shows and this page for designing the test. Keep the two pages linked rather than duplicating a guessed formula in both places.
