Patch 1.1.1: Chester witness progression

Official fix: Omni-Forward could block progression with Chester witnessing Epicrates' trial. Recruitment requirements are a separate question; preserve your pre-trial backup when checking an existing blockage.

Reach Clean Keeper Goose Part 2

The supplied notes connect Chester to the special result in Clean Keeper Goose Part 2. The first Goose route also has an Angelica branch that can give 25 gold, People +1, and access to the follow-up quest, so protect that thread before testing the second part.

• The first Goose quest reportedly asks for Strength 2, Charisma 4, and one knight
• Angelica is the reported special-result candidate for the first Goose quest
• Keep the Goose follow-up visible before changing unrelated story state

Reported Goose Part 2 setup

The reported threshold is Wit 3 and Luck 4. The special setup clues are a knight carrying Cheese, a knight carrying Horse, or an unreformed Gwendan. These are leads to test together and separately, not three requirements that have already been proven universal.

• Record which setup was active when the special result appeared
• Test one setup at a time if the first attempt fails
• Capture whether Chester joins immediately or after a follow-up scene

Chester achievement route

The current material supports two separate Chester checks: recruit him during Act 1, then send him in the third and final round of the Almor tournament. Do not merge the recruitment achievement with the Almor achievement, and do not claim that either pop-up must appear at a specific screen until it is captured. A separate current knight discussion gives the recruitment sequence: send Angelica to Goose Part 1, choose to investigate rather than dismiss Chester, read the Part 2 egg clue, then choose the lonely-style dialogue at the next encounter. No Chester-specific bug is currently reported.

• First Chester quest: send Angelica
• At the next encounter, choose Investigate rather than sending Chester away
• Second quest egg description: Shiny → Gwendan; Delicious Aroma → any knight with a mount; Smells Bad → a knight with Cheese
• At the follow-up encounter, choose the lonely-style recruitment dialogue rather than dismissing him
• Confirm Chester has joined before reaching the Almor tournament
• Send Chester in the third/final round
• Check whether the achievement appears on dispatch, result screen, or after returning to the Round Table

Chester as an Epicrates witness: keep it separate

The new route notes say Chester's testimony during the Epicrates trial may be random. That is not the same as the Chester recruitment or Almor achievement route, and the supplied material does not establish a fixed witness result. Record the witness choice and verdict as a separate replay variable.

• Record whether Chester is recruited before the Epicrates trial
• Capture the available witness options and the resulting verdict
• Repeat from the same pre-trial state before calling the result random
• Evidence state: community report / replay pending

Chester's stats are not fixed

The supplied notes report that Chester's six attributes can change on each check, approximately across a 0–15 range. That makes him useful for filling a gap but poor for a permanent roster ranking. Check his current profile immediately before dispatch.

• Do not archive one Chester roll as his permanent stat line
• Use the current quest pressure point as the reason to check him
• Keep the result and the roll together in your route log

Other Chester special results

The special-results notes also list The Great Duel and Vision Trouble for Chester. Treat these as separate test cards: one may be tied to a reward or upgrade while the other may be a character-specific outcome.
